We are so grateful to our family dentist, Dr Scott Park. Two years ago, I had a tooth with severe pain that was close to needing extraction, but Dr Park took great care of it and helped save it. I’ve had no issues since. He is always professional, kind, and truly patient-focused. Thanks to him, we have no worries about dental care in Canberra. I’ve also never felt any discomfort during hygiene appointments in preventive dentistry. All the staff are incredibly friendly and caring. Highly recommended!

I’ve been attending Preventive Dentistry since early 2024 and have had an excellent experience. From the friendly and welcoming admin team to the wonderful hygienist and Dr Park, the level of care is outstanding. Both the hygienist and Dr Park take the time to clearly explain treatments, with a strong focus on prevention and long-term oral health. I recently had two wisdom teeth removed, and Dr Park was incredibly caring, even going out of his way to check on me the following day. I couldn’t recommend this practice more highly.

Dr Scott Park had unreal service. I travel 2.5 hours for Scott's expertise and am always feeling validated for my travels. I have had issues with my teeth and confidence for as long as I can know and no dentist I went too had a decent reliable solution until I saw Dr Park and Dr Steven Lising. As soon as I met Dr Park I instantly felt comfortable and welcomed (never felt this at a dentist before). His smile and friendly demeanour removes any reluctancy to keep returning to preventive dentistry and his attention to detail and making sure all work is his 100% best makes this practise unreal. I would 100% recommend this practise to anyone!

Highly Recommend – Finally Found My Lifetime Dentist I initially went to a local dental clinic because I had a cavity. After the treatment, I experienced severe sensitivity, and I could still see a black area inside the tooth. When I asked if it might still be decay, I was told it was just “ink” and that it was nothing to worry about. However, that black mark never disappeared—even after a year—and the sensitivity continued for three months. It was frustrating and concerning. Yesterday, I was referred to Dr. Scott Park at this clinic, and I finally received proper treatment. Dr. Kim was incredibly kind and professional. It has only been two days, and the sensitivity is already completely gone. The treatment was done beautifully and thoroughly. This clinic may be slightly more expensive than others, but you truly get what you pay for—high-quality materials, exceptional skill, and a very professional and caring team. I have officially found my lifetime dentist. I highly recommend this clinic to anyone looking for honest and expert dental care.

I have been going to Preventive Dentistry for many years ever since my previous dentist retired. My dentist Steve would have to be the best dentist by far that I have ever been to. He has a good sense of humor also. All the other staff are so friendly and competent. The dental nurse is so nice as are the lovely ones at reception. Rachael does a really good job as the dental hygienist. Takes a lot of care and is always good to have a yarn to. In fact, I would be willing to crawl on my hands and knees for 10km over broken glass just to attend the clinic.

My first appointment with Dr Stephen Lising at Preventive Dentistry was very comforting and informative. I had been putting off treatment for a particular dental problem for some time. Dr Stephen was very thorough, listened carefully to my concerns, and proposed a pragmatic and positive solution to the problem. The admin team and assistant Emma were also very welcoming and Based on this experience, I would have no hesitation in recommending him and his team to anyone looking for a kind and skilled dentistry team in Canberra.

I cannot recommend this dental clinic highly enough. Every single staff member is incredibly kind, welcoming, and professional, which always makes me feel comfortable and well cared for. I have been seeing Dr. Scott Park since 2023, and I am truly grateful for his dedication and expertise. From the very beginning of each appointment to the end, he consistently takes the time to explain everything clearly and always prioritises preserving my natural teeth as much as possible. His approach is thoughtful, gentle, and focused on long-term dental health rather than quick fixes. I have been going to Preventive Dentistry since 2023 and have consistently been impressed with the high level of professionalism and fantastic service I receive. The entire team from the reception staff, to the hygienists, and the dentists are all absolutely wonderful. At this practice I really feel like the focus is on my needs as a patient. Everything is always carefully explained and I never feel like the appointment is being rushed. When I first started going to Preventive Dentistry, Dr Scott Park fixed two teeth with major cracks in them that should have been fixed many years prior. Dr Park did a great job and I am very happy with the result. Thank you to Dr Park and Raquel for the wonderful treatment you provide myself and my daughter. We both feel completely comfortable in your care.

Who would have thought going to the dentist could be a pleasant experience! Dr. Scott Park is not just an excellent dentist, but also an incredibly wonderful person to be around. I recently had a wisdom tooth surgically removed, and he did everything to make the long and tricky procedure as comfortable and enjoyable as possible - with lots of laughter. The team also provided exceptional care, giving me the exact sense of reassurance you want from any medical interaction. If you hate going to the dentist for any reason, I am sure Dr. Park will transform your appointments into something you actually look forward to.

I recently had a filling done by Dr. Scott, and I cannot recommend him highly enough. He is not only exceptionally skillful but also incredibly empathetic. He took the time to explain everything from a patient’s perspective, making sure I felt comfortable and informed throughout the treatment. It’s rare to find a dentist who balances professional expertise with such a caring approach. I’m returning soon to get my night guard as well.
